Welcome to the official For Love and Landscapes blog! I am so happy to have you here! I hope you find some useful information for your wedding planning, elopement planning, photography, and more.

If you don’t know who I am, my name is Laura. I’m currently a financial analyst and photographer so my life is very hectic. I have an accounting degree from the wonderful University of Wyoming. I spent a decade of my life chasing the corporate dream before discovering my passion in photography. Don’t get me wrong, I love my current day job! I have learned an immeasurable amount and many of the skills translate to running a business. I also get to help others in need which always feels good!

For Love and Landscapes is my daydream, my labor of love. It has taken me years (yes, years) to build the vision for this company. I have taken classes, watched endless YouTube videos, snapped tens of thousands of photos. I knew I wanted to make photography more than a hobby, I just needed to build my confidence and overcome my imposter syndrome. Both a work in progress! There are so many aspects of running a business that it can be easy to get overwhelmed. That feeling held me back for quite some time, honestly. I wish I had jumped in earlier, but hindsight is 20/20 right?!

This will be a space to share some of the many lessons I have learned about to photography, weddings, elopements, marriage, mountain life, and more. I’ve got a million stories and I think there are a few worth sharing with others. So, stay tuned for more insight into For Love and Landscapes and my mountain world!
